Dal Lazlo studied art in Chicago and San Francisco, then chose obscurity in Wisconsin, spending all his time creating art... hardly ever taking the time to market it.
There exists a stockpile of hundreds of his works
in many different styles and media.
Dal Lazlo's roots are in comics, Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, film noir, surrealism and dada. His work references movie posters, magazine covers, illustrations and portraiture. His process is one of discovery - straight from the subconscious to canvas or paper.
As we add photos of work for sale, we'll separate them
into genres or styles. Scroll through them all;
many are hard to categorize.
The Dada-loco Facebook page
has over 2000 images of Lazlo art.
It's possible to come peruse stacks of art not pictured here.
